After 18 years of working with children in various capacities, I finally found my true calling! I have been a babysitter, an elementary school teacher, and a full-time nanny. While these have all been rewarding roles, something was always missing.
I have always had a passion for babies and pregnancy. Since I was a child, I have looked at pregnant women with awe and admiration; I would dote over little babies, and I longed for the day I would have my own. I always knew in the back of my mind I would be happiest making a career stemming from this passion; however, it wasn’t until having my own children that I came across the amazing career of a Postpartum Doula. After hiring a doula to help my family adjust to life with twins, I saw firsthand how amazing these people are and what a needed service they provide. I realized helping families adjust to this incredible life change was exactly what I had always wanted to do!
As time has gone by I am thrilled to have added more education and expertise to my services. I also love to help families get the sleep they need and deserve. I am happy to coach YOU the parent on how to help your child get the healthiest sleep so she can thrive. I want to help you have a healthy balance of personal and family life. I believe in educating families on appropriate expectations for their child’s age and meeting parents where they are with what feels comfortable and true to their values. Adequate sleep is vital for a child to thrive physically, emotionally, and mentally; I would be honored to help you achieve that for your child.
